Bilek Istanbul Hotel

I keep staying here since years because of the hotel's very convenient location to metro, the Istanbul banking district and even to the airport, who is just a 30 minutes ride by taxi away. This time I particularly liked how the hotel management had used the time to work on past shortcomings. The lobby is now shining bright and makes an inviting impression. Some furniture was replaced by modern pieces and the bar is working in evening hours....and most important: the friendly and helpful staff is still around. I liked it a lot and I will certainly return to Bilek, whenever my path will take me to Istanbul again.

The hotel was great. The staff and the manager Mustafa went out of their way to open the gym for us before official working hours. The food selection for breakfast was great, and there is a plethora of restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel is 200m away from a metro station that tskes you directly to Taksim square and the bazaar. Highly recomended.

The rooms and bathroom were very large, there was 24/7 room service, the staff were nice, I would go back there again

The staff is very friendly and helpful. One day, the housekeeping forgot to put bath towels in the room and also leave 2 carton cups for coffee, but I found a room attendant in the morning and she gave me 2 bath towels. Unfortunately also the taxi is a problem in Istanbul. The taxi to the airport on Monday omitted to put on the meter! It's little things which could be improved. The Staff at the reservation desk are helpful.

Nice place, flexible to meet the guests requirements. If the Jim starts to work early, 05:30 or they manage to have kind of controlled access, I think they will get more guests. In the area around there are many good places for lunch, diner and shopping as well.
